Turn off the power
Switch off the circuit breaker for the room before doing anything. Never work live.
Check ceiling support
Take 2 minutes to verify your ceiling box can hold the weight — it's the one step worth doing carefully.
Hang & connect
Set the chain to your desired height, then connect Live, Neutral and Earth wires securely.
Level & switch on
Check it hangs straight and balanced, restore power and step back. Your new centrepiece is ready.
Worth knowing: Chandeliers are heavier than standard lights, it's worth taking 2 minutes to check your ceiling fitting before you start. Our team can advise.
